Solar Hot Water
You may not realize it, but heating your water in your home is one of your biggest energy expenses. Water is much harder to warm up than air and this added energy equates to a much larger energy bill. However, you can use the Sun to heat your water for you!
If you go outside, you will undoubtedly notice the warmth the sun provides. Living here in Arizona, being hot year round has become a lifestyle. Why not use that energy, lower your electric bill, and heat your water faster with a Solar Hot Water Heater System? A Solar Hot Water Heater can reduce your water heating costs by as much as 50% or possibly more in some applications.
How it Works
-
The FAFCO polymer solar collections channel water and absorb solar heat from the sun.
-
Set the controller to automatically operate the system during the day when there is enough solar energy to heat your water
-
The circulation module transfers the heat from the solar collectors to your hot water tank.
-
The solar heated water in your hot water tank is available for all of your existing hot water needs including clothes washing, kitchen, uses such as dishwashing and sink, and bath use such as shower, bath, and bathroom sinks.
-
When not in operation, the water in your solar collectors drains back to the wall mounted drainback tank to prevent any chance for the water to freeze.
